ImageGSL S3 runnerup and former TSL player Rain has joined fnatic and plans to move to the USA, where he will compete in the 2nd season of the NASL.

Korean professional gamer KR Seo-Yong 'Rain' Park has announced his move to fnatic's SC2 team. The former Team SCV Life Terran will also be moving to live in the United States of America, where he has already qualified for the second season of the NASL.

KR Rain's statement regarding the move:

""I am extremely excited and content upon joining team Fnatic and interacting with the current team members because I have always possessed great interest in the international Starcraft 2 community. Fnatic is a team with strong players in each race- for instance Fenix for Terran, Sen for Zerg, and TT1 for Protoss. I think it will be a good experience for me to have such stellar players as teammates and consider myself lucky to receive such an opportunity. Also, I will always put as much effort as possible so that I can perform well to not let both my fans and Fnatic’s fans disappointed."

Rain's claim to fame comes from his runnersup performance in the third season of the Global Starcraft II League. Defeating the previous season's champion, KR NesTea, in a Bo5 on his way to the final Rain's run was soundly stopped by KR MC's 4:1 ascension to the GSL throne.

In the following season Rain dropped out of Code S and play in Code A for the next two seasons, eventually winning back a Code S spot in May. Rain has now forfeited that GSL spot to make his move out of Korea. On the 14th of June he announced his departure from his former team, TSL.
