The European Console League's fourth event has been announced. The European Console League's fourth event will take place in London over the weekend of October 29-30, according to a Tweet from ECL event manager Chris 'Mellow' Marsh. The venue, nor the tournaments, were disclosed, though Marsh did declare that it "might be" host to the first European Gears of War 3 tournament and will "probably" be the last time an ECL event will feature Call of Duty: Black Ops.
It will be the first time that a major, open-to-all European console LAN will take place in London, much to the delight of southern-based gamers who have cried out for an event closer to home over the past few years.
ECL3, meanwhile, is set to take place in Loughborough from July 30 to 31, where "more exciting" details on ECL London will be announced.
