ImageFnatic have retained the Dreamhack champions title after outclassing Reason Gaming in the Grand Finals 2-0.

The Heroes of Newerth Dreamhack Summer 2011. tournament, IOL Final 4, has officially been wrapped up a few minutes ago.

Grand Finals

EU Fnatic 2 - 0 SE Reason Gaming

In a Grand Finals that can not be described any other way than "anticlimactic", Fnatic walked over Reason Gaming in dominating fashion.

In the first game of the series, the Swedes actually had a great start, netting several kills against their opponents trilane and managing to successfully shut down DK Johan 'n0tail' Sundstein's farm on Maliken while DE Dominik 'Black' Reitmeier on Puppet Master had free farm. Unfortunately they made the mistake of ignoring FI Kalle 'Trixi' Saarinen's Corrupted Disciple who was dominating the midlane against SE Daniel 'giftig' Ivarsson's Valkyrie as well as succeeding to help out his teammates in regaining the control. Reason was forced to turtle up while Fnatic established a hefty lead while constantly pushing closer to the Legion base and there was nothing that could stop them.

If it hasn't been confirmed yet, now it has. IL Tal 'Fly' Aizik is a drafting genius. First picking Wildsoul, followed by Myrmidon and Pollywog and finishing it up Tempest and Pebbles. Reason Gaming simply didn't have an answer to it. They could gank, they could push like crazy and most importantly rely on "the bear" as a late game carry should things not go as planned. But, oh boy, they did. DK Johan 'n0tail' Sundstein's Pollywog disassembled the midlane as usual, while DK Henrik 'Freshpro' Hansen's famous Wildsoul was deemed to proc those random snares ever since he rolled /1 1337 in the lobby and got a - 1337. 17 minutes into the match, Reason Gaming had no towers left and it was just a matter of when they'll press the concede button. They did try to defend as much and as hard as possible, but it was just not enough and Fnatic took home their second Dreamhack title.

3rd place match

SE TS Gaming 2 - 0 EU KD-Gaming

Earlier today, TS Gaming's experience came into play as they defeated KD Gaming in a set of not overly exciting matches with mostly passive play from both teams.
