Serious Gaming's Alexei 'Cypher' Yanushevsky has picked up his second DreamHack Quake Live duel tournament victory in a row after he won a thrilling four game series over SK Gaming's Shane 'rapha' Hendrixson. The Belarusian overcame an opening map loss and put together a three game winning streak, including a nail-biting come-from-behind performance on Toxicity.

Cypher attributed the first map loss to a mistake—and made sure that he would make no more throughout the remainder of the final. A rail-heavy Aerowalk performance helped Cypher secure a 21-8 win as he headed into the third map gunning for a dominant outing.

Cypher was quickly halted in his tracks on Toxicity however, where the action went back and forth. rapha held a lead, lost it, and then snatched it back again thanks to some cunning movement and shooting, restricting Cypher to a limited amount of items. With under two minutes left it seemed as though rapha was heading towards a 2-1 map lead, but Cypher's famed agression helped him claw back a few frags which, eventually, thanks to a couple of unfortunate spawns for rapha, gave the lead to Cypher with just seconds remaining.

Furious Heights was Cypher's from start to finish, despite a late surge from rapha that could have saved the game for him. The constant seven-to-eight frag lead held by Cypher was too much to overcome, and the UGC champ weathered the storm and picked the opportune moments to capitalize and seal the win, along with ~€3,897.

While a DreamHack title once again escapes the grip of rapha, Cypher showed exactly why he's the best dueler in Quake Live and made it clear in the post-game interview that he has another QuakeCon victory in his sights. Who's going to stop him?
