Virtus.pro unveil new lineup
In an unexpected move, Virtus.pro have announced that they will be picking up the former USSR lineup and disposing of their former CS squad.
Virtus.pro have announced that they will be departing with their old CS lineup, which featured the likes of
Ivan 'F_1N' Kochugov and
Alexander 'Talisman' Talismanov, in order to acquire four former
USSR players and
Anton 'kibaken' Kolesnikov who previously resided in
tao.
Virtus.pro is now:
Dmitri 'hooch' Bogdanov
Roman 'h4cker' Abramov
Vadim 'mice' Zimin
Anton 'kibaken' Kolesnikov
Mikhail 'evil' Garanin
Anton "Cyclone" Lapshenkov - team manager
kibaken is replacing the former fifth player of USSR,
Alan 'Fly' Temirov, due to Fly joining the Russian army.
Furthermore, in the official announcement, Virtus.pro revealed that
Alexey 'LeX' Kolesnikov will be helping to coach the new lineup, however he will be returning as a player in the near future.
Earlier this month, the new Virtus.pro lineup crashed out of the Intel Challenge Cup 8 after failing to secure a top two finish within their group, however the old Virtus.pro squad advanced to the second group-stage.
