OK pull out of ICSC 8, paistit take their place
Online Kingdom have announced that they will also be dropping out of the Intel Challenge Cup 8, leaving paistit their place in the tournament.
Online Kingdom is the second team within 24 hours to pull out of the Intel Challenge Super Cup 8, with
USSR announcing their withdrawing from the event last night due the organisation going through structural changes.
The Finnish team have pulled out of the event due to
Jirka 'JiGetus' Ryhti still being in a civil service camp, meaning that the team are unable to practice for the tournament. As a result, Online Kingdom will be replaced by
paistit, a team which consists of
Kimmo 'BASiC' Fagerholm, a player who has reportedly departed from OK, as well as many other Finnish stars including the Kovanen brothers,
Samu 'plastE' Aalto and
Timi 'aslak' Verkkoperä, a player who is fresh from Team Excello.
paistit is:
Kimmo 'BASiC' Fagerholm
Samu 'plastE' Aalto
Timi 'aslak' Verkkoperä
Tomi 'lurppis' Kovanen
Niko 'naSu' Kovanen
paistit will be joining
Frag eXecutors ,
Moscow Five and
DTS in Group D of the second group-stage of the ICSC8 with their first match being scheduled for this weekend.
