ImageIn a major move for the North American scene, Complexity Gaming has acquired ROOT Gaming, but with a few notable losses to the roster as some players choose to go their separate ways.

In rather substantial news in the scene, it seems that Complexity Gaming has taken a big step towards solidifying their position as one of the best teams in the North American scene. This is because as of today, the team formerly known as ROOT Gaming has been acquired by the wizards at Complexity.

As with all mergers, all is not well on both sides of the fence. As part of this new team roster is seems that well-known and well-liked ROOT members Jonathan 'KiWiKaKi' Garneau and Paul-David 'SLush' Pagé have decided to go their separate ways instead of joining the new organization. While this is obviously an unfortunate setback for Complexity and the fans of both of these players, it is always important to ensure that everyone is happy with the team they are on. In this case it seems that that was an impossibility for these two.

Still, the majority of the former ROOT gaming is now a part of Complexity Gaming. As such it seems that Complexity is going to be a very formidable force in any events that they partake in. Here's wishing the new team good luck in their future events and also KiwiKaki and Slush good luck working on finding an organization that fits what they want in their StarCraft 2 careers.
