Power Gaming and Online Kingdom have agreed to end the digifest tournament by splitting the first place prize between themselves due to player complications. At the end of March, digifest 2011 was forced to be played online following technical difficulties at the LAN event and as a result has taken almost three months to reach the Grand Finals.
Power Gaming reached the grand finals after battling their way through the upper bracket of the double-elimination bracket stage while
Online Kingdom fi had to fight their way through the lower bracket to reach the grand finals.
After a long and delayed tournament however, it has now been revealed that both teams will be splitting the first place prize money (€1,500 to Power Gaming and €1,000, as well as an invite to a "big" event, to Online Kingdom) instead of playing the grand finals out.
Joni 'Freon' Huumo explained to HLTV.org why the decision was made:

"We couldn’t play the final because lurppis being in USA and jigetus being in civilian service camp for 4weeks, we decided to split the money and share the first place. There was supposed to be some kind of invite to this big lan event, we got that invite, though I'm not sure if there really was any invite at all."
