EPS Summer: Socke triumphs 3:1
Socke won another EPS title after giving HasuObs his second finals loss in the space of one weekend. Socke won €3,000 for his 3:1 series win.
Giacomo 'Socke' Thüs has won another ESL Pro Series title by triumphing three maps to one over Dennis 'HasuObs' Schneider to win the EPS Summer 2011 title. For HasuObs this proved to be a doubly disappointing weekend as prior to losing the EPS final he had lost the EPS Ligapokal 2:3 to XlorD.
