Team ALTERNATE is the latest casualty to upcoming school commitments. After defeating Lions swe and being struck down by x6tence , the German team have told the Intel Challenge Cup organisers that they will have to pull out of the tournament due to their school obligations.

With it being too late now to replace the team in the tournament, every team that was scheduled to play the Germans are given an automatic win. Furthermore, x6tence is now topping Group H with Lions sitting in second place, meaning both teams will almost certainly qualify for the LAN playoffs.

Last week, ESC Gaming de were also forced to pull out of the ICSC8 because of exams pressure.
