The organisers behind the Dreamhack Summer event 2011 have announced that the CS tournament will feature a total prize pool of 100,000SEK (~$16,000).

The Dreamhack Summer 2011 organisers have announced that the CS tournament will boast a 100,000SEK (~$16,00) prize purse. The event, which will feature 12 teams, kicks off on June 18 with the teams being split into 2 groups of 6. The top 3 teams from each group will advance to the single-elimination bracket stage of the event.

Dreamhack Winter champions

Natus Vincere automatically qualify for the event and will be joined by the winners of the Spanish and Benelux Dreamhack Qualifiers, as well as 2 teams that qualify from the DH BYOC event and 7 invited teams.

Prize breakdown:

1. 60,000 SEK (~$9,550)
2. 30,000 SEK (~$4,775)
3. 10,000 SEK (~$1,580)
