Success at CeBIT, podiums at ESL Opening Cups and yesterday's win at ALTERNATE's Shift 2 Cup shows how great 2011 has started.Even though you haven't had the chance to read much about SK Racing besides the strong performance at GT Academy, Danny 'HuskY' Engels still had a successful start into early 2011.
While Sebastian Vettel had to wait for his first race in Formula One the virtual racers had their first offline event of the year during CeBIT already. HuskY` took home a brand new Core i7 Extreme Edition by winning the iRacing Intel F1 Tournament at Thursday with only a fraction of a second in front of Scotsman Richard Crozier.
Shortly after CeBIT Need for Speed: Shift 2 Unleashed was released and as ESWC runner-up in Need for Speed: Shift it was merely a matter of time to see Danny's high aims growing again. Even though he was beaten in the German ESL Opening Cup Final by ALTERNATE's Markus 'r4veNNN' Ullrich revenge was taken in the European ESL Opening Cup only a few days later. During an exciting Best-of-Three battle between the above-mentioned players Danny 'HuskY' Engels took home the award for being the best European Need for Speed player in the Electronic Sports League.

Another top-class international tournament organised by Team ALTERNATE took place yesterday. Especially players from the Russian multigaming team USSR have shown that east European racers are traditionally fast in Need for Speed. But with Schumacher's talent in German blood East Europe wasn't fast enough to beat SK Gaming's Danny 'HuskY' Engels. Means another first place and small prizes can be added to the long achievements list of SK Gaming.
