ImageTwelve foreigners have battled it out over the past month for a fully paid trip to Korea to train in the GOMtv foreigner house. MYMSase defeated DignitasNaniwa in the finals on Wednesday to take the grand prize.

Competition was fierce in the Road to Korea tournament as twelve top Swedish players chased after a dream of Korea. With a desire to improve their game by the proven process of dedicated training in Korea in mind, SE 'Modulen' , SE Jonas 'Cytoplasm' Larsson, SE Jesper 'Bischu' Johansson, SE Jimmy 'Jimpo' Wölfinger, SE Sebastian 'FuRy' Pesic, SE Hampus 'BSW' Bergström, SE Marcus 'ThorZaIN' Eklöf, SE Faton 'LaLuSh' Rekathati, SE Carl Stefan 'MorroW' Andersson, SE Johan 'NaNiwa' Lucchesi, and SE Kim 'SaSe' Hammar have shown their worth in impressive group stages and an epic play off series. Sase came out on top defeating DignistasBischu in the semifinals and proceeding to take out DignitasNaniwa, famed winner of MLG Dallas 2011, 3-1, interrupting his 33 tournament series win streak.

In the playoffs MYMSase defeated Dignitas Bischu with an impressive 2-0 score, while DignitasNaniwa took out European top zerg MilleniumLaluSh 2-0 as well. In the finals MYMSase pulled off a win far more impressive–DignitasNaniwa is lauded as one of the best players in the world with consistent wins in every tournament since MLG Dallas. Naniwa is currently 3-0 in his NASL group, excepting a forfeited loss due to time conflicts. MYMSase miraculously managed to take out this Goliath of a player 3-1 in the final match up, although there was a little controversy as Naniwa complained of cross server lag as he played from New York, where he is staying to participate in the upcoming TSL3 final. LaluSh disappeared after the semifinals, however, so Bischu was granted 3rd place.

Congratulations to MYMSase on his win and best of luck training on the tough as nails Korean servers. All three top finishers received some cool gaming hardware as well.
