ImageDignitasNaniwa and MouseThorzain battle it out live in New York City this coming Sunday in this exciting concluding match to the TSL3 while EmpireKas and MouseHasuObs attempt to gain a guaranteed spot in the next TSL.

Well ladies and gentlemen, the stage is set and the players are in place for this grand conclusion to the Team Liquid StarLeague 3. And what a journey these players have taken to get to this point.

Last weekend we saw two amazing sets of mirror matches with Johan 'NaNiwa' Lucchesi taking down Dennis 'HasuObs' Schneider 4-1, and Marcus 'ThorZaIN' Eklöf making mince meat out of the super experienced Mihail 'Kas' Hayda in rather commanding fashion. Both series showed us just how amazing both of these players can be when they are on form and just how dangerous each can be when facing the best opponents.

But first off we will have the ever important third place match between Kas and HasuObs. While at first glance just a side show for the main event, this match has more than pride and a little money on the line as the biggest prize at stake in this particular Bo7 is a guaranteed seed into TSL4 when it occurs. And as most players who struggled to qualify for TSL3 will readily admit, this prize has its own inherent rewards.

After carefully watching both sets of matches from the previous week, HasuObs vs Kas will be a match this coming Saturday that many may wrongfully overlook since they view it as not that big of a deal. These two players however know what's at stake and with the significant probability that the prize pool might even be larger than TSL3's, getting a free pass into the next TSL is a prize well worth fighting for.

Both players are significantly experienced and both had a very difficult road that fell just short of the championship this past weekend, but when taking a close look at both players Kas appears to have a significant advantage in terms of experience and play style. Should that match be called now the excellent micro of HasuObs will keep the series close, but Kas will ultimately be the winner, perhaps being forced to take it all the way to game 7. This is one you definitely should not miss.

Still, the main event is what has everybody talking. The surprise of the tournament Thorzain will be taking on what is easily one of his biggest opponents yet in Naniwa, and the winner is far from certain.

So far in TSL3 Naniwa has managed to simply overwhelm his opponents with his creative builds, fast 4-gates, and altogether impressive myriad of playstyles, leaving players of all three races in the dust with not even a second thought about how difficult each matchup was supposed to be going in.

This tendency to dismantle his opponents should have everyone worried a bit about how Thorzain will be able to handle the pressure, but after what many have called the most entertaining series in StarCraft 2 history against the one and only Min Chul 'MC' Jang, it is clear that if there is anyone out there that can overcome the onslaught of Naniwa, it will be Thorzain.

A winner in this matchup is too tough to call, but if these series is any shorter than 6 games then one of these players will just be having one of those "off-days" that plague you at the worst times and should not be used to judge their overall skill. The fans should be in for a massive treat as these two fight it out this next Sunday evening. So tune in at 20:00 CEST this Saturday and Sunday to enjoy both of these excellent matchups in their entirety. You won't want to miss this exciting conclusion to what has been an absolutely amazing tournament.
