Well wait no longer as GOMTV has just announced a massive "Gom TV Super Tournament" that will consist of all 64 players in both Code A and Code S.
Perhaps the biggest news out of GOM is the massive 100,000 USD prize that the winner will be taking home in what is easily the biggest first place prize for any StarCraft 2 competition to date. Prize pools like that will help make GOMTV events in Korea seem that much more relevant in an already crowded StarCraft 2 tournament scene.
The action will be kicking off on May 23rd at GOMTV's studios over in Korea and the remaining foreigners over on Team Liquid,
Chris 'HuK' Loranger and
Jonathan 'Jinro' Walsh, will definitely be doing their best to show that they have what it takes to beat the best of the Koreans as they seek out the massive first place prize. With this tournament set to have it's exciting conclusion June 18th, everyone will be watching as the best players seek to prove their worth on StarCraft 2's biggest stage.
