The HoN GosuCup #1 is an international 16 team event. 8 slots were reserved for the top 8 teams in the Gosugamers rankings while the remaining 8 slots have been filled by the winners of 4 European and 4 North American qualifiers.

The tournament features a group stage, from which two best placed teams will proceed to the playoffs.

The tournament features a $3000 prize pool.
