WCG Qualifier for France Announced

ImageInformation on this years WCG qualifier for France has been announced

Information on this years World Cyber Games qualifier for France has been announced. The qualifier will take place at Japan Expo, the same location of ESL France's Pro Series X LAN finals, during June 30 to July 3, but teams will have to qualify for the final qualifier. There will be a qualifier for Counter-Strike 1.6, StarCraft:II and new addition League of Legends, which has taken over the ranks of TrackMania.

For Counter-Strike, teams will have to earn one of eight available spots through five pre-qualifiers, which will take place over five LAN events. On the other hand, StarCraft:II will also have players earn one of eight available spots, but through three pre-qualifiers. As for League of Legends, WCG France organisers have yet to distribute information on the qualifying process.

Counter-Strike
- South LAN Event: 29 April-1 May (1 team)
- NeXen: 13-15 May (1 team)
- Cybernation Paris: 29 May (2 teams)
- Cybernation Paris: 12 June (2 teams)
- AtLanteam Grenoble: Dates TBA (2 teams)

StarCraft:II
- Disciplinary bureaucracy Paris: 22 May (1 player)
- Disciplinary bureaucracy Paris: 5 June (1 player)
- GameCreds: Dates TBA (6 players)

League of Legends
- TBA

Overall winners of the qualifier will receive paid travel and accommodation to the World Cyber Games Grand Finals, scheduled to take place later this year in the Fall.
