SteelSeries partner with CCSK for CS League

ImageSteelSeries have announced a partnership with CCSK to support a new Chinese Counter-Strike league.

Gaming peripheral giant SteelSeries have announced a partnership with a new Chinese media outlet CCSK (Chinese Cyber Sports Kingdom), which will see the two organisations combine to form a new Counter-Strike league for China. The partnership sees SteelSeries further their investment in the Chinese scene as they recently invested in a retail shop in Zhengzhou, China.

The new league will have a prize pot of $875 and hardware provided by SteelSeries. Teams from China will have to qualify through one of the twelve "conference qualifiers", were the top three teams from each qualifier compete in the regular season, which consists of a playoff in a "King of the Hill" format. All the games, apart from qualifier games, will be broadcasted on HLTV and even an internet radio station called YY.

Playoffs: August 6-7
Grand Finals: August 14-15
