Grubby crushes Lalush to win his group
The WarCraft 3 legend Manuel "Grubby" Schenkhuizen defeated Swedish Zerg Lalush and finished first in his group at Copenhagen Games.
Manuel 'Grubby' Schenkhuizen secured a 2:0 victory over
Faton 'LaLuSh' Rekathati and won the first place in group O of Copenhagen Games. Already having beaten Danish newcomer
Cypres, Grubby only needed that win to get the high seed spot.
Manuel 'Grubby' Schenkhuizen 2:0
Faton 'LaLuSh' Rekathati
-1:0 Tal'Darim Altar
-2:0 Metalopolis
Grubby played a solid, standard composition in both games, going the usual PvZ combination of Gateway units, Colossi and Void Ray support. With that mix he crushed both Lalush's Brood Lord play on Altar and the burrow Roach play on Metalopolis.
All qualified players are being reseeded in the playoffs after the end of the group stage and Grubby having the high seed means that he will not not play another first place finisher in the first stage of the brackets.
