We are proud to announce that 3 SK Gaming racers are qualified for the GT Academy 2011. The GT Academy is a pan-European competition that unites the worlds of virtual and real-life racing to make the dreams of aspiring race drivers a reality. The goal is to find the best Gran Turismo 5 players, test their skills at a Race Camp and then train one winner to become a professional race car driver.

The top 20 was determined in a online tournament and under the TOP20 are 3 SK Gaming racers. DE Patrick 'Patohm' Weking finished his round in 2:17.181. Only 0.006 seconds behind him on #12 is DE Stefan 'Kenny' Jahr and DE Tobias 'boMbaY' Hoffmann assured his 14. place with a lap time of 2:17,209.

From the 6th May on, the regional final will be held at a very exciting place:

The would pass a six-day comprehensive race driver training school, where they would judged on fitness and mental attitude, but also at driving skills in an array of Nissan cars.

The overall 2011 winner would drive at the United Kingdom, where he would pass an intensive driving and racing program over 7 months, to qualify for an international racing license. The winner may be able to race in the prestigious Dubai 24 Hour International race in a fully-supported Nissan 370Z GT4 car.
