Iron Will team becomes new Virtus.Pro
Iron Will's most recent lineup have been the new Virtus.Pro side.
Virtus.Pro , the most famous name in Russian esports history, has picked up the
Iron Will lineup, which includes three former members.
The new
Iron Will lineup:
Alexey 'LeX' Kolesnikov
Aleksey 'HEL1' Novikov
Ivan 'F_1N' Kochugov
Vladimir 'VofkiN' Shmakov
Alexander 'Talisman' Talismanov
LeX, HEL1 and F_1N were all formerly members of Virtus.Pro, with HEL1 and F_1N playing from March 2006 to June 2007. LeX is the only member to have been at the core of all the Virtus.Pro lineups. His most famous placings are 3rd at ESWC 2004, defeating SK.swe on dust2 along the way, and 1st at ACON5 in 2005, beating coL along the way.
Virtus.Pro's last significant tournament was their appearance at WCG 2009 where they were eliminated in the group stage, losing to PowerGaming and mTw. At the same tournament F_1N played as stand-in for HEL1's CMAX.gg, placing 4th. CMAX.gg had previously been known as tp.uSports and later became forZe. LeX had to step down from fully active competitive play in 2009 after he discovered he had heart problems.
Iron Will, prior to the additions of VofkiN and Talisman, placed last at the ICC7 losing all of their games.
