A Protoss mirror to end DreamHack Stockholm
After another 2:0 semi-finals, "White-Ra" advances to the finals over "Sjow". The old-timer will meet "MC" for a prize money of more than $15,000.
Oleksii 'White-Ra' Krupnyk managed to go over
Jeffrey 'SjoW' Brusi and captured the second spot at the DreamHack Invitational grand final. White-ra did not lose a single set to the Swede and exited his booth with much joy.
Oleksii 'White-Ra' Krupnyk 2:0
Jeffrey 'SjoW' Brusi
-1:0 Terminus RE
-2:0 Crevasse
White-ra went for a very aggressive Stalker push against Sjow's bunker expand and once he amassed a sufficient number he just walked pass it to thrash the Terran economy, winning the game soon after.
On Crevasse, the Protoss was pressured due to the close air position, which were just what Sjow likes. The Swede went for a 3-Starport opening, hoping to harass hard with Banshees while sniping Observers with a Raven/Viking combo. White-ra, however, hold his ground enough to reach the necessary Protoss ball that was garnished this time with High Templars.
The game walked a thin edge for a while with no player having a significant advantage until Sjow decided to add Battlecruisers to his mix. Needless to say, Ra's Blinkers and Feedbacks managed to deal with them and the Protoss secured his second win.
Thus, White-ra meets MC for a third time in less than a month after the GSL Seoul Invitational.
