SK Gaming handled mTw in two straight maps to win paid entrance fees to the Xperia PLAY tournament as the champions of HLTV.org's prelude tournament.

SK Gaming took care of

mTw with relative ease to win HLTV.org's Xperia PLAY prelude tournament and the entry fees which were the first prize. Xperia PLAU will take place at Copenhagen Games in Copenhagen, Denmark, from April 21st to 24th.

It will have been no surprise that the two teams, who had met in the 3rd place decider of the IEM V World Championship last month, made it to the final but the lack of resistance from the Danes certainly could not be expected.

Starting CT side of both maps SK got out to big leads and then did not falter in holding onto them to ride out a map win. The series clincher came on nuke, which has thusfar proven to be SK's strongest map.

Christopher 'GeT_RiGhT' Alesund told HLTV.org about the win:

"We went into this game pretty confident, we haven't been playing so much but sometimes it can be better to take it pretty chill and come in with new motivation and so on. We ended up winning the game, but I guess we shouldn't say that we are better then mTw, because everything is about LAN victories and not what you can make online. The tournament itself went pretty smoothly for us, except the against Moscow5 that we were forced to use a standin because RobbaN's internet was down, other then that we are glad that there is something to play online and thanks to HLTV.org for that!"

He also commented on the Xperia PLAY tournament itself:

"We are now aiming for a decent place for us in Xperia PLAY that's coming up in less then 1,5 week from now. As I said before, we haven't played so much. But we will try to play as much as possible and make our fans, SK organization and other people think better about us with a better finish then in IEM. Good game to mTw and thanks for all the people watching the prelude tournament, you make our community survive! Lots of love from me and my team and cya in Copenhagen!"

SK Gaming will be on location at Xperia PLAY to provide coverage.
