The conclusion of the very prestigious Honcast HoNor tournament is upon us.

While fnatic had a strong run in the winners bracket, managing to get all the way to it's finals where they were then sent to the losers bracket by Evil Geniuses and have beaten Online Kingdom and the now disbanded Dirty Minds to get there and thus it was only our team that stood in it's way of a rematch in the grand finals; SK Gaming had a much harder task at hand to get to the losers bracket finals. After their second round loss to Dirty Minds, they had to chain victories against Infused Gaming, Empire Gaming, DuskBin and get revenge over Dirty Minds in order to have a chance to fight for the title.

Going into the match, SK was fresh from an embarrassing loss against Jokes on you in the SK Gaming HoN Tournament #1, while fnatic managed to regain some morale by winning the last minute ESL EMS VIII Qualifier.

The only thing that stood out for most of this match was Mike 'CarDinaL' Smith's amazing gank oriented play on Magmus, which almost singlehandedly kept SK Gaming in the game, allowing Mark 'Tralfamadore' Seidl on Aluna to farm up and then show the hero's carry potential later on.

SK Gaming pulled the ace out their sleeve for this one by going for their, now already famed, double jungler strategy featuring Tempest and Ophelia. Despite the surprise factor, fnatic was actually in an experience/gold lead for the most part of early to mid game, but managed to throw it away with some questionable item pick-ups, mainly Johan 'n0tail' Sundstein's on Soulstealer. SK on the other hand, took an uncontested Kongor kill whenever he was up, exponentially increasing Steven 'Korok' Ashworth's effectiveness with Doctor Repulsor, which coupled with their deadly ultimates, was enough to seal the deal and proceed to the grand finals.
