According to fpskorea.com, Kun-chul 'solo' Kang who captains South Korean team redCode kr has been summoned by his country's military to serve his mandatory military service, which will last between 21 and 24 months depending on the branch he is stationed to. Ken-chul, last seen at the IEM V World Championship Finals where his newly homed side failed to advance past the group stage, will start his service today.

solo is not the first person to be hit by military service, as last year players from PlayZone and Power Gaming had to quit the game in order to serve their mandatory military service.
