Ex-EG player Grubby has been announced as receiving "exclusive sponsorship" from SteelSeries, the news coming from the peripherals manufacturers' facebook page.

Only days after

EG announced the end of their relationship with former WC3 star and new SC2 player

Manuel 'Grubby' Schenkhuizen the Dutchman has been picked up by SteelSeries for "exclusive sponsorship". The announcement was made via SteelSeries' facebook page. Rather than playing for a new team Grubby will apparently be going solo now due to this sponsorship.

The legendary Orc player can be seen wearing a new SteelSeries shirt in an photos from an interview session featured on Grubby's tumblr.

The facebook announcement:

"We are proud to announce our exclusive sponsorship of professional gamer, Manuel Grubby Schenkhuizen, who starts his solo career in StarCraft II today, just in time for MLG Dallas. Grubby boasts 6 world championships, over a hundred other tournament wins, awards for best player and player of the year in eSports, inclusion in the World Cyber Games Hall of Fame for his WarCraft III career.."

SteelSeries has been a long time sponsor of Grubby's, with the exception of his time in Meet Your Makers, from the days of 4Kings up to his recent time in Evil Geniuses.

Grubby will be competing in the North American StarLeague (NASL) in Division 1.
