Precisely one month ago, the organisers behind Electronic Sports World Cup announced the first lot of games that would feature in ESWC 2011. It saw two tournaments in Counter-Strike, one for Male and the other Female. It also saw the addition of a Male only Counter-Strike Source tournament, due to its "increasingly active community", an ESWC news post read.

One month later and another news post has appeared on the site, this time displaying the second batch of games which will feature this season. This time there are only two games in the announcement, which are FIFA 11 and TrackMania Nations Forever.


The next announcement to be made by ESWC will be the RTS (Real Time Strategy) games. ESWC 2011 will be held in France in the Autumm and will feature a prize pot of $220,000.
