Fnatic CTF/TDM collapses, deus joins Reason

ImageFnatic's Quake Live CTF/TDM team has broken up. Deus has signed with Reason Gaming, while l1nkje stays within Fnatic as staff.

Fnatic has released David Alexander 'deus_' Kinnaird and Pierre-E 'l1nkje' Portier following difficulties in assembling a full squad. This comes despite the annoucement of TDM at this year's Dreamhack Summer, the only major LAN outside of QuakeCon to introduce a team-based game mode in recent years.

However, deus immediately joined Reason Gaming to complete their TDM squad, seemingly replacing Magnus 'fox' Olsson who hasn't competed for a while.

L1nkje meanwhile has stayed within Fnatic as a photographer and video editor, but given his abilities as a TDM player, it probably won't be long before he's worked his way into a team.

Deus shared his thoughts on his new home on the Reason website:

"I'm really looking forward to playing with Reason Gaming, a team which i'll be playing with noctis/fazz/zyv at dreamhack this coming summer for TDM. They are a group of people who I get on with very well and have the same goals as me. I'd like to thank fnatic for looking after me and understanding why i had to make this choice."

Reason Gaming TDM is:

UK Daniel 'ddk' Kapadia
UK David Alexander 'deus_' Kinnaird
SE Pelle 'Fazz' Söderman
AT Richard 'noctis' Gansterer
SE Patrik 'zyv' Sirén
