ImageMoscow Five have removed xek from their lineup, leaving them with only four players.

RU Moscow Five , formerly MYM.ru, is down to four players following the removal of RU Alexander 'xek' Zobkov. No announcement has been made on who the fifth player to complete the lineup will be.

xek had become a member of the lineup during their time as [u.s.b.], when they won ASUS Autumn prior to joining MYM. With a chequered past due to claims he either cheated or couldn't perform on LAN xek played a part in establishing MYM as the best team in Russia, ahead of the dosia-powered forZe.

The key change in the team's fortunes came with the removal of hooch and XomA to make way for dosia, widely considered Russia's best individual player, and his brother Fox, best known for his AWPing prowess. With the arrival of these players MYM.ru became a veritable all-star team of Russia in terms of individual talents. This was perhaps reflected in their play as they took up a very aggressive, risky and peek-heavy style which played off their natural aiming abilities.

In Kiev at the IEM V European Championship MYM was able to defeat SK Gaming on inferno by a score of 16:3 to make it out of Group A in 2nd place overall. In the playoffs they ran into eventual fourth place finishers Na`Vi. At the World Championship, under the name Moscow Five, a decent chance to get out of Group A fell by the wayside as the team's playoff spot was snatched by coL.br.
