GomTV World Championship announced
Nine days after GSL March finals, GomTV will launch yet another huge tournament. The best players from four regions will fight tooth and nail for the title of world champion.

Nine days after GSL March finals, GomTV will launch yet another huge tournament. The best players from four regions will fight tooth and nail for the title of world champion.GomTV will host another major tournament right after the end of GSL March. Starting on March 28th and running for two weeks until April 9th, the GomTV World Championship will face the best pro-gamers in the world in both an individual and a team league to crown the true masters of the game.
The individual tournament will feature a total of 16 players, selected from the four major eSports regions - Europe, America, Asia and Korea. Half of the players will come from the Top 8 GSL rankers and the other will compete in preliminaries in order to win a spot in the event.
The team tournament will feature two teams - the "Korean All Stars" vs the "World All Stars" - and will run for two days. The first team to achieve 8 wins will be crowned team champion of the world.
GomTV has also announced the first seven qualifiers for the tournament from Asia, Europe and Korea.
