SK Gaming and mTw played for the third place. Both teams probably wanted to play in the final two hours later and weren't as motivated coming into this as they could be. That proved at first but when teams got into their groves it proved to be an amazing match that went right down to the wire. SK started good on de_inferno and took it down letting mTw take only six rounds and putting themselves in a very good position since the next map de_nuke was a very strong map for them. But they didn't play as well as they should have and let mTw back into the game. mTw took the gift from SK and took the second map in a storm. SK seemed back on form on the terrorist side of de_train and put up huge nine rounds as terrorists. But SK again gifted mTw the pistol round scrapped for an overtime which they managed to get. SK threw away their third chance to grab this third place into the overtime when they were 5-2 up and one point away from winning the match. mTw proved to be the better team here and showed SK that you can't gift topteam easy rounds like they did today if you want to beat them.

de_inferno: SK Gaming 16:6 mTw (T 10:5, CT 6:1)

mTw won the knife round and chose the CT side of de_inferno on which they've shown impressive defense against the today's finalists Na'Vi and Frag Executors. SK started by winning the pistol round and looked in a good spot to go 3-0 up. But mTw bought deagles in the second round and some careless play from SK allowed them to get right back in and tie the score at 1-1. SK tried to buy again in the next round but they were denied and forced on an eco which they also lost. Dennis showed us some amazing skills being the leading fragger in SK's comeback in this first half. They started putting up rounds on the board and the mTw defense didn't look so impenetrable this time. mTw managed to get another two rounds but a 10:5 half was still something what favored SK going into the second half.

SK carried on the momentum trough into the second half and won the pistol round without allowing mTw to plant or do to much damage. mTw bought deagles and got some opening kills, but zonic was left in a 1on2 with the bomb down which was too much for him with only 16HP. mTw bought again and were denied again forcing them on their first full eco of this half. mTw got shut down in the next buy round again which put SK on map point. They tried closing it out quickly by pushing aggresively on mTw but the Danes were ready and put their first round of the half on the board. But that is all mTw managed in the first map and SK crossed over the finish line in the next round to take de_inferno with a ten round margin.



de_nuke: SK Gaming 8:16 mTw

SK looked in prime position to take this in two maps as de_nuke proved to be their best map in this tournament. They had to start on the weaker T side which they proved is still strong against Frag Executors yesterday. They lost the pistol round but got right back into it with a deagle eco win. That put mTw on a double eco which SK had no trouble dealing with. mTw took the first buy round but SK immediatly replied making the score to 4-2 in their favour. mTw regained their composure somehow and started stringing rounds together which is the important thing on CT side of de_nuke. Their streak ended at 7 when SK replied with another round. mTw came back into it quickly putting another two rounds on the board and securing their lead for the 2nd half. SK took the last round with a quick rush and some nice shots.

SK had the CT pistol round in the grasp but minet with 4HP got three kills and made the round possible with mTw suddenly in a 2on1 advantage. Get_right was unable to read them and mTw took pistols and the eco putting themselves 11-6 up. SK tried a force buy in the 3rd round of this half and it almost worked with some nice aiming but mTw denied them and put them on another eco. The score was 13-6 and it looked bad for SK on their best map. They lost another full buy round which put mTw only two rounds away from tieing up the score on maps. SK managed to get two more rounds before mTw put two more on the board which gave them a chance to win the match on the third map.



de_train: SK Gaming 24:26 mTw (T 9:6, CT 6:9, ctOT1 4:1, tOT1 1:4, tOT2 2:3, ctOT2 2:3)

You would think the momentum is with mTw right now and it looked even more dangerous when they won knives and started on the better CT side. SK managed to get the pistol round with some good play from Robban which carried on in the next rounds. SK against all odds jumped to a 8-1 lead on the terrorist side of de_train. mTw got back into it though letting the swedes only take 1 more round in the rest of the half. 9-6 still looked an awesome score for T side of de_train.

But SK managed to loose a ridicilous 2on1 situation on the CT pistols, trace outsmarting them with 11HP. That's what SK didn't need to do but that's what we've seen them do so many times and just throw away matches. mTw took the ecos easily and continued dominating the SK that were on the stronger side of the map. At 12-9 SK called a timeout. They took the first round after the timeout but didn't manage to win a 5on3 situation which they put themselves in the next round. 13-10 for mTw at this point. SK started their comeback and mTw only got one in between and the score was suddenly 15-13 for mTw. SK was on a forcebuy and f0rest ran rampant with the deagle scoring a hat-trick which gave SK a chance to tie the score and give themselves another chance in the overtime, which they did. But our brilliant commentators didn't catch that and proclaimed SK the winner. They eventually managed to figure it out, or probably someone told them and we got to see the overtime too.

The overtime started smooth for SK with Get_Right picking up a four kill round and mTw managed to get only one round in the first half of the overtime when trace went nuts with three instant awp shots on the outside. SK replied with another round for them Get_right again being instrumental covering the middle.
4-1 for SK in the first overtime and they moved on to the harder T side of de_train.

mTw started with an almost flawless round but SK rushed alley in the 2nd round and managed to come out on top putting themselves on match point. They broke trough the mTw defenses but time ran out for get_right and mTw denied SK their first match point. zonic shut down the SK attack on outside in the next round and mTw were only one away from forcing a second overtime. SK went inside but were denied by mTw and we had another overtime on our hands.

SK stay on the T side and surprise mTw in the first round but mTw lock the outside on the 2nd round again. Third round looked very good for SK but ave outplayed get_right in a 1on1 and got an easy kill to put mTw ahead after a long time. SK made it level right away with a brave rush to outside where they got the important entry frags and outaimed mTw to make it 2-2. mTw take the next round with some help from SK's unfortunate teamkill.

SK moved on to the stronger CT side again but mTw managed to open up the first round and take a 4-2 lead in this overtime. mTw get another nice opening in the next round but SK clean up the outside rush with some important frags from Robban. mTw do a split in the next round which works perfectly and put themselves on the match point with two rounds remaining. mTw come close in the next round but Robban gives SK another chance. mTw goes all-in in the last round of the 2nd overtime and rushes the outside and it finally works for them and ends the match in their favour.
