Moscow Five , have once more shown themselves to be the best in the region as they won ASUS Winter 2011 and ~$5,200 in prize money at the Kiev-based event. The team, formerly known as MYM.ru, won in two straight maps over their opponents
Iron Will in the final.

ASUS Winter 2011 final standings:

Perhaps the most surprising result of the tournament was the early elimination of
Power Gaming in the first group stage after ties with two unknown Russian teams and then a loss to Belarus' Ultimo.
Team ALTERNATE also fell earlier than expected due to being on the wrong end of a three way tie in the second group stage which saw them eliminated on round difference.
Moscow Five most recently placed 5th-6th at the IEM V European Championship Finals, scoring themselves a notable 16:3 victory over SK Gaming on inferno in the group stage.
Iron Will is composed of four past members of a famous Virtus.Pro lineup. Former MYM.ru player hooch played for USSR at ASUS Winter while former PinG players lmbt and strike played for selectah.
