Vanity Tournament
Among the console Call of Duty scene, Vanity is very well known for their Tournaments. With the launch of Black Ops they decided to start a new one with prizes worth £560 pounds, which is a lot for console online Tournaments. 195 Teams signed up for the Tournament and none of the elite was missing.

Until the winnerbracket final it seemed that no team could stop SK Gaming , winning every match with 3-0 (playing bo5), even the ones against Team eMpathy and Team.infused.

The wb final against mythiX e-Sports couldn't have been a more exciting and fascinating match. It was streamed by GameSports TV and everyone who watched this match saw how close it has been.

Capture the Flag Cracked: 3-2
Demolition Firing Range: 1-2
Search and Destroy Havana: 7-5
Demolition Summit: 0-2

After 4 of the 5 maps, each of them count as one point, the result was 2-2, so everything had to be decided on Radiation at Capture the Flag. Having captured a Flag, the map had to be restarted, as there was a mistake in the settings, thus the advantage of SK's Team was destroyed. In a last crime map, the SK Lineup lost 2-3.

So the guys had to fight in the small final, having the chance to play in the overall final vs. mX again, if they would win it. The opponent KD Gaming is also very well known for its good team, so it had to be a quite difficult and exciting match, too.

Unfortunately, SK lost with 0-3, but the match was closer than it looks like, for example 7-8 loss at Search and Destroy on Cracked.

All in all, having reached 3rd place in such an important Tournament is a great achievement.
