TyLoo will have to miss the IEM V Global Finals due to an expired passport. UMX-Gaming will take their place.A few days ago, news came to light that Chinese team TyLoo may not be able to attend the IEM V World Championship Finals due to Luo 'KingZ' Likan's passport being expired. With the deadline to update his passport in time to secure a new visa now gone, the team have opted to miss the world finals.
In a statement with cnFrag.com, TyLoo told the news site how they had requested information in December from ESL regarding the qualifying process for Chinese teams, but failed to get an answer until the new year, which resulted in the late attempt by Luo to renew his passport.
With the side place now vacant, French side Electronic Sahara looked like the favourites to take the place after a ninth place finish at the IEM V European Championship Finals. However, ESL have taken a different approach, deciding to invite Ultimax Gaming from Taiwan.
The side, last seen at the Beat IT Grand Finals where they took 5/6 place, will join the likes of
mTw ,
Frag eXecutors and
