In a big upset, Sjow scored two consecutive losses in his Group I against Runa and Sein. This casts the Swedish terran out of the tournament along with Finnish player Which.The defending champion of IEM V European Championship 
Jeffrey 'SjoW' Brusi will have to leave Finland after being outmastered in two TvPs. Coming from team Dignitas and with a huge background of eSports successes, Sjow was considered as the favourite to win his group and his elimination proves to be one of the biggest upsets of the tournament.
The results in Group I put
Tuomas 'SeiN' Lahtinen on the top, followed by Joacim 'RunA' Persson. The latter will face 
Dario 'TLO' Wünsch in the next stage of Assembly Winter.
