ImageCooller managed to win the recreated ending of the 5th map against Strenx but not without some incredibly exciting moments happening first, to everyone's surprise. Full video of what took place inside!

RU Anton 'Cooller' Singov ended up winning the replay (or more correctly recreation of what might of happened) of the final 30 seconds or so of the last map of his semi-final with FR Kevin 'Strenx' Baeza but not in the fashion anyone had envisioned.

The final stanza of the game had to be recreated due to a pause followed by a power outage which ended any possibility of it playing as out as normal. It was then decided by the ESL admins that they would recreate the same armour, health and weapon situations for the players and have them play out the remaining amount of time with Cooller at 0 frags and Strenx at -1 (since Cooller had been leading 6:5)

Watch what happened for yourself in this video of the entire affair from the recreation into the game itself:

Most everyone assumed Cooller would simply run/hide and play out the final seconds without taking too much damage and thus win the map and series. In fact when the game went live Strenx rushed the Russian and managed to kill him, much to the surprise and delight of the crowd, sending the game into overtime shortly afterwards. In the overtime Cooller managed to find Strenx by the upper YA as the Russian came out of the door and rocketed the Frenchman up and then killed him with another rocket to take the lead. After that the final kills went Cooller's way, with the last being a noticably shaky shotgun kill to seal the deal.

Cooller progresses to face his rival PL Maciej 'av3k' Krzykowski in the final.
