ImageAnother eastern european showdown but both teams expected it to be the final not a third place decider.

Frag eXecutors , who had an impressive tournament got thrown into this match by the danish team mTw , after a breathtaking three map match that had a hundred epic rounds in it. In the end mTw had two more after a comeback in the last map. Natus Vincere took down fnatic fairly easily on de_dust2 yesterday, but were unable to find anything against the new fnatic in the next two maps.

Frag executors started on the stronger ct side but didn't get the margin they wanted. Half time score was 10-5 in favor of the Poles. Last year's almost impenetrable Na'Vi de_train defense didn't look so sharp this time as Frag eXecutors controlled the half only letting Na'Vi take two rounds. Map ended 16-7 for the Polish champions. A huge blow to Natus Vincere on one of their trademark maps. Can they pick themselves up and still claim the third place?

Natus Vincere started on the stronger terrorist side, but were unable to capitalise on it. Everywhere they went there were Frag executors shutting them down, only letting Na'vi get five rounds in the first half. The match wasn't that significant for both teams but FX really looked like they were running away with it here. Na'Vi's hope was their usually very strong ct side of de_dust2. They took a 3-0 lead, but Filip 'Neo' Kubski's show from this event continued and he won a 1on3 in the 4th round that seemed too easy for him. Na'Vi just didn't have the will come back in this and the Polish team finished it quickly with a few rushes that the ukranians couldn't stop, because they simply weren't hitting their shots and the Poles were.

Both teams qualified for the Intel Extreme Global Finals. Frag eXecutors as third and Natus Vincere as fourth. Both teams will be considered favourites of course, Na'vi the defending champions and FX only loosing two close maps to mTw but beating everyone else they faced.
