Recently SK and Bigfoot hosted an 8 team League of Legends tournament, for the results, read on..
The SK Bigfoot tournament was aimed at community teams allowing those who wouldn't usually be in th final rounds an even chance at getting themselves some prizes.
The winners were to take home 5 x Killer 2100 Network Gaming cards and the opportunity to face SK Gaming LoL in an exhibition match.
The tournament was a best of 3 and due to the teams being evenly matched a lot of the games went the distance leading to an exhausting day for our finalists who were
epsil0n Multigaming and
Akatsuki .
The final was again a best of 3 scenario. The first game lasted 29 minutes and epsil0n Multigaming had quite a dominant kill advantage with the scores at 28-13. Ris3AgainsT put in a strong performance on Twitch going 12-4-9. clok1k had a bad day for Akatsuki going 0-9-3 on Malphite.
The second game lasted a little longer, reaching the 37 minute mark. Surprisingly Akatsuki didn't choose to ban Twitch despite his dominant performance last time out, instead they banned Cho'Gath, Anivia and Miss Fortune.
Strange decisions in my opinion, consider NoNameLoler went 1-2-10 in the first match. Also they chose to ban Cho'Gath despite the fact that he wasn't banned last match and epsil0n Multigaming didn't choose him.
Ris3AgainsT left them to rue the decision not to ban Twitch by once again posting up 11 kills, though he did suffer 8 deaths this time. NoNameLoler came into his own however, this time playing Ashe and finishing with a score of 11-3-15.
This match it was Edogaru who suffered, going 1-10-8 on Janna.
epsil0n Multigaming were the winners of the first SK Bigfoot LoL tournament and each will find a Killer 2100 Network Gaming card on their way to them who all originate from Sofia City, Bulgaria.
As a secondary prize our winners were invited to play an exhibition game against our own SK Gaming team.
This was livestreamed but due to some technical errors the recording failed. The game started off well for the challengers will Araneae providing them with an early kill after some questionable positioning. Wickd however showed his prowess on Ashe and carried the SK team to victory with 10+ kills and only 1 death.
The SK team will be recording a lot more matches in the future so you can see how they are dominating.
Thanks to all the participants for competing and of course to Bigfoot for the prizes.
