MYM recruits SaSe, Xlord, and Mondragon
MYM brings on 2 new Protoss and 1 Zerg to join ClouD in the New Year.
Daniel 'XlorD' Spenst,
Kim 'SaSe' Hammar, and
Christoph 'Mondragon' Semke, who will also be filling the role of team manager, have been recruited to MYM's StarCraft 2 team. The three players will be joining ClouD to create a very fearsome lineup. Each of these players has a strong history in competitive gaming and a lot to offer MYM.
Daniel 'XlorD' Spenst:
Xlord is a former Alternate and SK player. A triple WarCraft 3 ESL Pro Series champion, Xlord has since switched to StarCraft 2 and made appearances in the ESL TV invite cup, ESL SC2 German ladder, and a TeamLiquid Open. Winner of ESL's 'Most Efficient Player' award for his success in WarCraft 3, Xlord is entering MYM as a celebrated progamer.
Kim 'SaSe' Hammar:
MYM's other Protoss player, SaSe, also comes from WarCraft 3. Though not quite as decorated as his teammates, SaSe has a history with both mousesports and Alternate and many opportunities ahead of him. With his new teammates to practice with there is no telling how far he will go.
Christoph 'Mondragon' Semke:
After the end of the famous StarCraft: Brood War team Templars of Twilight in July 2010, it seemed that Mondragon might have left eSports forever. StarCraft fans were shocked when ToT's founder and leader announced his entrance into the StarCraft 2 progaming scene by accepting a seed into the third TeamLiquid StarLeague tournament on the 1st of January. Among his many achievements, Mondragon has won four WCG qualifiers, 3rd place at the 2007 WCG Grand Finals, and 2nd place in TeamLiquid's 2nd StarLeague. Mondragon is one of the oldest hands in the StarCraft scene; I have no doubt that he will succeed as both a player and team manager.
MYM's new StarCraft 2 lineup brings fresh faces to the forefront of the StarCraft 2 competitive scene and makes MYM a serious threat in Europe. Under Mondragon's guidance and leadership I expect this team to grow into a force to be reckoned with. How big an impact Mondragon's resurgence into eSports will be and how much of a splash MYM's new team can make remains to be seen.

"Hey, so finally it's sure. Im going to work together with MYM, MYM has a long history and it's connected with strength, glory and awesomeness, I'm happy to get the chance to play for MYM and I hope that I can fulfil their claims. Let's get it started!"

Kim 'SaSe' Hammar:
"I am very happy to find such a great team as MYM so quickly. With their support from both players and sponsors I hope I can improve my skill a lot. It's very nice to have both oldschool bw players and wc3 players mixed since we look at the game differently."

Christoph 'Mondragon' Semke:
"I’ve had various invitations and offers from several small and big teams but MYM was the first team that approached me the right way – they both offered me a position as team manager and player like I used to be in ToT. As well they were the first team that agreed on special circumstances concerning my studies and my personal life which I appreciated very much. After that there were very friendly talks and they agreed on my philosophy how to lead a StarCraft 2 team which means that you are going to see one of the best StarCraft 2 squads here at www.mymym.com in the future :) I hope that everyone that supported me and ToT in BW will support MYM and me in StarCraft 2 as well because we are going to get something started here :) Last but not least I would like to thank MYM and all its sponsors once again."
