SK Gaming's first StarCraft II player, Fredrik "MaDFroG" Johansson, will be departing from the organization, due to unfortunate circumstances. We first saw
Fredrik 'MaDFroG' Johansson take up the mantle as a professional gamer for SK Gaming in 2003, when he joined the organization to compete during the days of Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos in 2003. Over the next two years, he would win over 36,000 USD in tournaments including a silver medal at ESWC 2003 Grand Final, a gold medal at Blizzard Worldwide Invitational 2004 and a silver medal at ESWC 2004 Grand Final. After several years of being an on and off amateur player, starting in 2007, MaDFroG returned as the first player for the SK Gaming StarCraft II division. Following a 5-8th place debut at Gamescom 2010, struggled with two 9-16th place victories, but managed to secure a 2nd place prize at EPS Nordic III Finals, as well as becoming the highest-rated zerg player in Europe in October, 2010.
Despite admirable results, recent circumstances have arisen and after a series of discussions, it has unfortunately been reached through mutual consensus that MaDFroG will be unable to remain with SK Gaming for 2011. MaDFroG will be succeeded by the newly-recruited teammates
Hun 'inuh' Park and
Jimmy 'Jimpo' Wölfinger.

Statement from Timothy "merusame" Ellersiek, Head of Team and Player Management:
"Unfortunately, we have to part ways with Fredrik, due to some circumstances which won't allow a fertile fundament for both parties to work on in 2011. We had a blast having the legendary MaDFroG back on board for the last six months, but as things have turned out, we won't be able to prolong Fredrik’s contract for this New Year. We want to thank MaDFroG for his efforts and achievements as being our first SC2 player we adopted into our roster and wish him all the best for his SC2 future."

he was the legend in the sc2 squad :(
GO GO MADFROG!
change name to Fsharp !
hope you'll get deleted.
my guess is 2 exp. players will be hired and mb 1 more youngster
we don't know the reason for this. think SK should of given him some more time. Feels like MaDFroG was just being used to hype people up for things to come for SK's Starcraft 2 section. Well the starpower has definitely been lost now.
Atleast i hope he got payed. ^^
I really think sk wanted to see how madfrog "grows" and shows his skill, to focus on one-man division- apparently what he did wasn't enaugh + seeing more and more team leagues to pop out was an impulse to hire more young and talented players
My guess is that MadFrog made some unrealistic demands in terms of salary
he was amazing in WC3. And SC2 is not the same as WC3. But maybe with time he will be good.
