ImageThe ESL has announced a Chinese qualifier for the IEM V World Championship.

The ESL has announced the creation of a new qualifier, which will guarantee a spot for a Chinese team in the IEM V World Championship taking place in Hannover, Germany on March.

The qualifier will be firstly constituted by a group stage, gathering teams by region. After the group stage, eight teams will battle for a slot in Hannover alongside the world's elite sides. According to HLTV.org, more than 70 teams have already signed up.

It is known that ESL has another spot for an Asian team, but no details regarding its distribution have been revealed. Meanwhile, for this tournament, CN TyLoo head in as favourites. It is also known that last year's runners-up, the Taiwan-base team UMX Gaming , have already signed up.

It was reported today by cnfrag.com that another surprising team would come up for this tournament, comprised of four ex-TyLoo players, coming back from their inactivity. The ex-TyLoo players are CN Chao 'GoodRifle' Xue, CN Jiang 'virgo' Qian, CN BiaoHong 'Rita' Huang, and CN Nan 'prom1se' Wang, the latter three coming from the CN TyLoo raw side that recently disbanded. The last player is CN LiXian 'JK' Hou who played with rita in wNv.gm in 2009.
