cArn: "[pita] will do as much impact as niko would"
fnatic's captain cArn talked to HLTV.org about the departure of his former team-mates to SK Gaming, taking in new players to fnatic and his regrets practicing vs. Na`Vi in 2010.
fnatic captain
Patrik 'cArn' Sättermon has been interviewed by HLTV.org in the wake of the departure of f0rest, Gux and GeT_RiGhT from his team. f0rest and GeT_RiGhT joined SK Gaming, Gux is teamless and fnatic quickly reloaded with Delpan, Xizt and pita. cArn addresses all of these issues and is open about his opinions on the topics discussed.
On his reaction to finding out his team-mates were trying to form a team without him:
What regrets cArn has from 2010:
Thoughts on losing f0rest and GeT_RiGhT to SK:
Why moddii wasn't considered for the new fnatic:

fnatic were supposed to reclaim their position as the #1 team in the world following their recruitment of Gux from SK to reform their world-beating 2009 lineup. This seemed initially to be working out as planned as they won GameGune and IEM V Shanghai but since then the team has suffered some significant downturns.
After choosing to boycott the WCG grand finals, at which Na`Vi completed the triple crown of majors, fnatic lost DSRack #3 LAN to Full Gaming but defeated the same team to win KGC #2. At WEM the Swedes were defeated in two straight map losses to be eliminated in last place, the killing blow being a triple overtime game with EG. At DreamHack Winter fnatic were defeated by Na`Vi in two maps, with the second being a clinic by the Ukrainians.

"That being said, after losing to Na'Vi in the quarter-finals, I knew we were going into a meeting with different meanings on how to solve the current problems, but I was still surprised that I was informed that they gave Fnatic an ultimatum that they would leave the team if dsn and I weren't replaced with RobbaN and allen.
Besides the surprise I felt, I also found it slightly amusing that me and Harley should be replaced with players who barely haven´t won anything in a very long time. It would have been much easier to grasp the situation if they would suggest upcoming talents to tag up with Fnatic, not players of the same age as me and Harley, but with much less impressive CV."

What regrets cArn has from 2010:
"I'm not a guy who goes around and regrets stuff, but if I could turn back time we should not have practiced as much against Na'Vi, and what makes this story even more interesting is that these days Na'Vi never want to practice against us, so I guess I have to say hope you enjoyed the lesson and thanks for not giving anything in return, hugs guys!"
Thoughts on losing f0rest and GeT_RiGhT to SK:
"It´s not really as hard to imagine as if Osama bin Laden were to have dinner in the White House with the American president, but I still find it pretty odd, as both Gux and GeT_RiGhT were treated bad by them when they played for them. But I guess it was the only choice for f0rest and GTR."
Why moddii wasn't considered for the new fnatic:
"I´m just listening to what people around me say, and there should be a reason why Moddii was kicked from MYM and never got a contract from SK, as he has loads of skill."

1./ SK-gaming points out the source clearly
2./ SK don't copy all the article, so who wants to read the whole article need to go to hltv.org website.
try better next time !
They now have swedens and one of the worlds best awper and Xizt with his amazing aim and pita with great aim and smart play.
+ 2 legends that bring stability and can be just as good as the absolute best aimers when they are on.
but we will see in the near future. I think SK got a good chance of beating Na'Vi pretty soon. their lineup just got massively stronger.
fnatic is like a completely new team so eighter they will surprise right off the bat or it will take some time before they can seriously threaten Na'Vi.
imo delpan will be the most important player for fnatic. that's just my opinion. He will open up new opportunities for the team with his sick elephant bazooka.
players the same age as me and Harley, but with much less impressive resume. "
that is pretty interesting to know.. thx for the great interview cArn, you'll be the best team captain for ever
GOOOOOOOOOOO FNATiC!!!
Kthxbyekiss
Pretty sure fnatic lost 1-2, and that they were the only team in dreamhack to take a map off Na'vi.
just because you have one good cs player doesn't mean he's best in the world XD
