SK Gaming talks to K1llsen about his GamesCom win and his preparation for DreamHack 2010 and BEAT IT.

Hi, K1llsen. Please introduce yourself for the people who are not familiar with the Quake scene...

"Hello everybody, my name is Marcel Paul, I'm 23 years old and i'm playing
Quake series since 7years now and I won the last big international Event
(IEM Global Challenge Gamescom)."

Do you feel prepared for DreamHack 2010?

"I feel ok, my preparation got a bit interrupted cause I got sick."

How much time do you spend a day for training?

"I weren't able to practice like I did before Gamescom. I played like
around 2-3 hours a day."

Many people might think that you winning Gamescom was kinda lucky? Do you think you can prove them wrong?

"Was it lucky? I mean where was the luck factor there? I think I deserved
that win and worked hard for it and in the end my work just paid out
finally, after I was very unlucky at ESWC 2010 and DH Summer. BUT overall I
would say yes of course it was, since you can't really push yourself to have
a good day it's there or not."

Who do you think will be your toughest opponents?

"The toughest opponents will be the same like always
rapha/cypher/av3k/cooller and everyone of those guys know if the luck is on
their side they can manage to win a tournament."

Do you feel comfortable with the current mappool?

"The Mappool is fine for me I like it much more than the IEM mappool. But
overall I don't really care about the Maps so much if you want to be a Top
Player you have to get a good feeling on every Map. So there is not much
time to think about it."

You are playing in both DH and BEAT IT, don't you think that the pressure could be too much?

"I'm fine with playing 2 Tournaments don't know about the other player's
how they think about it. It's like a 2nd chance if u lose at the Beat It
Tournament you still have the chance to win the Dreamhack."

Do you have any plans for 2011?

"There is nothing planned so far."
