gob b and Kapio to retire after EPS

Imagegob b and Kapio will be retiring from professional Counter-Strike after the current EPS season ends.

Fatih 'gob b' Dayik and Navid 'Kapio' Javadi have only just welcomed Finn 'karrigan' Andersen to the Mousesports squad, but the duo have announced that they will be retiring from professional Counter-Strike in the near future.

After mousesports' victory over TBH.eSports yesterday at the IFNG event, gob b broke the news to ESL TV and explained the reasons behind the decision.

"I'm going to concentrate on my studies and I feel like something is gone," he said. He cites that a lack of tournaments is also an issue, and Counter-Strike: Source is not an alternative for the mouz talisman.

The grand final of the seventeenth EPS season takes place two weeks from now in Cologne, where the pair will be making their last appearance under the mousesports tag. What this spells for the rest of the mouz team remains to be seen, but won't take long to be revealed.
