GSL S3: who qualified and who didn't?
With the 64 participants for season 3 of GSL decided who made the cut and who will be watching from the sidelines?

With the 64 participants for season 3 of GSL decided who made the cut and who will be watching from the sidelines?The qualifiers for Season 3 of the GOMtv Global StarCraft II League (GSL) have been completed and the 64 participants for the upcoming season are now known. The event will feature ~$174,232 (199,600,000 KRW) with $89,000 going to the winner, just as in previous seasons.
Teamliquid has translated interviews with all 64 qualified players. On his youtube channel commentator Artosis video interviewed players at the qualifiers.
Five non-Korean players made it in total.
Huge props to TeamLiquid for putting together a conclusive list of participants.

The first name which leaps off the page is NaDa, the most accomplished SC:BW player of all time and top 8 finisher in GSL S2. Ensnare is also big surprise to not qualify as he made the top 4 of S1 and he along with InCa reached the Ro16 in S2. Chinese talent Loner finished 2nd at Blizzcon and in the Ro16 in S1. Sync (a.k.a.) Gilja is a former SC:BW pro who won an OSL and made it to the Ro32 in S2. Fellow former BW pro BabyByeBye (a.k.a. SangHo) made it to the Ro16 in S2.

The biggest surprises of this bunch is Tester by far as he has long been considered one of the best South Korean Protoss players and also didn't make it into S2, which was considered by many to be a fluke/underperformance. Following his is SeleCT, who finished runnerup at MLG Washington, and the man who mothership rushed him at MLG HuK, who also won MLG Raleigh.
