DreamHack Winter is only a few days away and the tournament organizers have announced that de_mirage will be in the Counter-Strike tournament's map pool.

Essentially a remake of de_cpl_strike, with the only major difference being a redesigned B bomb site, the organizers added the map in the aid of keeping things fresh in Counter-Strike. "We have evaluated the current situation in CS 1.6 and in order to re-energize professional Counter-Strike and also give the tournament a extra dimension the new map is needed," the official announcement reads.

The map will feature in the BYOC tournament and the group stages of the main tournament.
