Both x6tence and Antwerp Aces have secured a spot at Dreamhack Winter after winning their national qualifiers.Yesterday saw the Spanish Dreamhack Qualifier take place, with eight teams competing for a place in Dreamhack's Winter tournament. Eventual winners x6tence got off to a good start, winning all their group games, followed by a string of victories which set them up for a grand final encounter with Wizards. The side made light work of their opponents, claiming the game 16-5, which secured their spot at DH Winter.
A day later and the Dreamhack Benelux qualifier would conclude, seeing Antwerp Aces clinching the tournament. They, along with opponents PROGRESSION, advanced to the LAN finals after an online tournament earlier in the week. In the final, the Belgian team made it look easy, taking a straight 2-0 win on the maps of dust2 and nuke.
Both teams will be in attendance at Dreamhack's Winter Counter-Strike tournament later this month from November 25-28, where a total of $35,400 is up for grabs.
