SK Gaming are today officially removing Robert 'TORNADOTONI' Radosevic from the team. His replacement is Florian 'puRit' Dobberphul.

SK Gaming captain Nico 'sYrox' Strott spoke about the change in the following interview:

Introduce puRit to the readers.

Florian "puRit" Dobberphul is 25 years old, lives in Berlin and works for an insurance company. Before he decided to go (temporarily) inactive in February this year, he used to play for mTw and managed to win the German EPS twice, together with mEiJin, who plays for SK now as well. Additionally, he won the ENC 2009 with Team-Germany and the EMS Season 2.

Why was tornadotoni removed?

During the time, when toni was part of the team, many different situations occured which lead to thoughts about a substitute for him. He really often acted in an unprofessional way and sometimes even was kind of disrespectful towards the other players. But he was a good player and we had good times together as well. However, he was a strange guy and really unpredictable. Apart from that, we received several penalty points from the ESL only caused by toni’s unreliability. But it seemed like he could not have cared less.

The fact, that toni managed to miss two flights to the Top-Match of the Season, the iFNG vs. mTw in Hanover was the straw that broke the camel's back.

We had no other choice than to draw the consequences from all this which finally resulted in his dismissal.

How did you come to choose puRit as the new 5th player? Did he do anything specific to impress you?

No, nothing specific. Ludi, disi, mEiJin and me know him for many years now and belief in his skills. Gaming as well as personality related. He is a nice guy and a well known and remarkable player in the CS:S scene. As you can imagine, he got much more experience than, as he played for Team-Germany and teams like mTw. As a consequence, he will be able to have a bigger share in our game and tactics than toni ever had. Though he has been inactive for about half a year now, he was able to win the latest SLAP.dk Lan with a German mix-team three weeks ago and did an astonishing job there. We are proud to welcome him to the team and are more than confident that he will do a great job for SK and celebrate grate successes.

What kind of role will puRit have within the team and how do you see this change affecting the team?

I don't think that it will affect the style really hard. puRit is really really good rifle player and able to take out many enemies in short time, like you know it from Rak already J. But he is also good awp player, which was not necessarily true for toni. So, he is kind of an upgrade for the team J Now we got new different opportunities to build the game up. It will be interesting and you’ll maybe see a new SK playing style at the Finals. We'll see.

SK has had an excellent season so far in the EPS, what are the expectations going into the LAN finals with a new player?

We do aim at winning the Finals of course. puRit is really intelligent player who is able to adapt new tactics fast and we are pretty sure that we will be even stronger with this new lineup than before. As we could see from the comments on the different news pages, puRit got a lot of fans who want to see him back on stage. We do them the favor and strive for celebrating his comeback with the trophy.
