Fnatic shut down female team
The female team had been restructured, after being down to two players. Today, Fnatic announced the shut down of the female division.

The female team had been restructured, after being down to two players. Today, Fnatic announced the shut down of the female division.The last days had been crucial to the Fnatic's team restructure. After Anette 'Cazzidy' Skarderud, Sophie 'inzane' Regnér and Zainab 'zAAz' Turkie left, the team brought in 3 players from Alternate: Melanie 'beyoNd' Gutsche, Antonia 'antonia' Jilek and Kathleen 'kathi' Letsch.
According to Fnatic.com, the reason for the shut down was contract problems. After learning that both Antonia 'antonia' Jilek and Melanie 'beyoNd' Gutsche were still under contract with Alternate, the organisation was forced to drop the players from the team. Consequently, the line-up decided to go separate ways and leave the organisation.
The announcement also featured a reveal that Zainab 'zAAz' Turkie had lined up as a stand in for DreamHack Winter 2010, but due to Zainab being employed by a competitor of one sponsor of Fnatic, she wasn't allowed to play under Fnatic's flag.

"There really was not a problem with Alternate nor Antonia or beyoNd about signing the contract but we as players and a team, did not like the new contract and decided not to sign them and leave"

"Today is a very sad day as we have to say goodbye to Fnatic. We decided to part ways because of disagreements and misunderstandings but we separated in good terms. We are very thankful for all the opportunities Fnatic has given us, all the trips and all the experiences"
