In late October, Dreamhack announced that they had invited three players to their QuakeLive tournament which will be held at the upcoming Dreamhack Winter event. This meant their sixteen player tournament was still had six vacant spots.

But with the tournament edging closer and closer, organisers at Dreamhack have handed out another three invites. Among the invited players is legendary Dutch player Sander 'Vo0' Kaasjager, Dreamhack Winter 2008 Q3 runnerup Kevin 'Strenx' Baeza and Reason-Gaming's Pelle 'Fazz' Söderman.

Also attending the tournament is the British Quake player Gareth 'GaRpY' Marshall who successfully earned his spot by beating his teammate Dan 'zsx' Sanders in the finals of the PlayDH online qualifier.


With four of the six remaining places taken, that leaves two more spots open. They are to be determined this weekend at the Spanish and Czech DH qualifiers.
